Job Overview :

The API Testing and Support Engineer will provide support to clients.Perform comprehensive testing of APIs. Troubleshoot and debug the technical systems Independently.

Responsibilities & Duties : 

  • Provide timely and accurate engineering-level support to clients and their development teams who uses APIs.
  • Understand client needs and their business use cases, map them with comprehensive APIs that Contis offer, and work with variety of stakeholders on integration aspects.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose client issues while they integrate with Contis APIs & systems, provide timely and best resolution on the raised matter
  • Driving projects that improve support-related processes and our customer support experience.
  • Keep the product team focused and effective by triaging and then either escalating or fixing customer-reported bugs and issues in production.
  • Collaborate with QA and Development Team to help them ensure our released software is high quality and reliable.
  • Maintain existing test artefacts and document, create daily activity report.
  • Able to multi-task across tickets in your active queue and communicate with development team as needed.
  • Be able to navigate error logs and translate issues to customers.
  • Active participation in review, evaluate and contribute towards continuous improvement.
  • Provide critical problem solving and advanced troubleshooting
  • Strong team player who believes in active collaboration between various teams. Contribute towards producing effective application documentation.

Skills & Knowledge Required : 

  • 5-7 years of development or API Technical Support experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of MSSQL.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
  • Experience scripting in modern programming languages.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Experience supporting applications and services that use API integration
  • Strong analytical skills to assess data quality and system issues independently.
  • Ability to juggle many tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment
  • Must be self-starter and able to work as part of a team, who is excited about technology.
  • Amazing people skills with a love of working with customers.
  • Knowledge on API tools (ex: Postman, JMeter, SoapUI)
  • Good to have experience in API Testing (REST Assured/HTTP Client)
  • Research and resolve data errors and unexpected results.
  • Identify and describe customer-reported software defects.
  • Able to Review .Net application code when troubleshooting.
  • Good Exposure on Product Testing (Banking, Finance & Card Payments industry).
