Contis is the Banking-as-a-Service provider spearheading the digital payments revolution. We’re on a huge growth path and have rapidly doubled our payments volume while supporting 1.5m end-customers via over 200 clients. Contis is proud to be a European fintech success story looking for the best talent to drive our explosive growth. 

Contis has spent over ten years developing a proprietary banking and payments engine for clients to ‘white-label’. Clients range from established global players to new start-ups who avail themselves of Contis’ one-stop-shop banking, card issuing and card processing platform that operates across the UK (Direct Debits, Faster Payments etc), SEPA (Credit Transfers, Direct Debits) and Visa / Mastercard (prepaid and debit). Separately, Contis powers the UK Credit Union movement with a full consumer banking and debit card offering. Contis’ platform is proprietary, supported by its own team of developers and testers and delivers industry-leading levels of uptime. 

 This 6-month contract role will be responsible for bringing Contis into alignment with revised Visa and Mastercard rules regarding structure and implementation of 8-digit BINs.

Responsibilities & Duties : 

  • Identify the optimal BIN structure for Contis’ current and future card estate across Visa and Mastercard. 
  • Develop migration strategy. 
  • Gain approval for this approach from critical Contis stakeholders, Visa and Mastercard. 
  • Work with relevant stakeholders (Production, Account Management, Finance, Compliance etc) to procure, implement, test and roll-out relevant new BINs. 
  • Complete BIN management documentation and set up BIN governance tools. 

Skills & Knowledge Required : 

  • Seasoned Project Manager with knowledge of the Visa and/or Mastercard issuing space. 
  • Proven track record delivering significant industry projects. 
  • Solid approach to defining, governing, and delivering projects at pace. 
  • Ability to build consensus, command respect at all levels of an organisation and with all stakeholders (internal and external). 
  • Pragmatic and structured approach, especially when under pressure. 
  • ‘Completer-finisher’ with great attention to detail. 
  • Solutions focused. 
  • Educated to degree or similar standard.
