Job Overview :

Contis is seeking System Administrator to support its Global IT infrastructure under PCI DSS Level 1 compliance including: Servers, networks, hardware, software, security tools and specialized applications within Contis boundaries. Contis is looking for System Administrator to provide and manage resilient, secure and efficient infrastructure for Contis IT platforms as per defined standards and compliance.

Responsibilities & Duties : 

  • Management of desktop, Servers, Storage and network & security devices across Contis Offices and Infrastructure presence
  • Ensure high availability and uptime of Windows and Linux servers with focus on security and compliance.
  • Provide support for Contis IT Infrastructure tools implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Provide support to IT Infrastructure including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the Computers, Servers, Network, Security Devices and Mobile devices
  • Ensure the procedures and documentation related to enterprise environments are kept updated.
  • Managing Administration of Microsoft O365 licenses and services
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Licensing and compliance
  • Periodic hardware/software upgrades, security and operational patching including equipment installation, configuration, troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Installation of computers, servers, switches, firewalls, wireless,
  • Deliver project tasks as part of IT Infrastructure project implementation and delivery process.
  • Evaluate and enhance Server, network, security Infrastructure for optimal performance & security.
  • Provide remote IT support on-call, weekend, holiday, and extended hours.
  • May require coming on holiday on rotational basis.
  • Carry out planned maintenance and activities to enhance or upgrading the IT Infrastructure.
  • Process automation and configuration management, Helpdesk/ Ticketing solution management
  • Participating in IT product/service evaluation
  • IT hardware and software procurement, Inventory management, Data Backup management
  • Managing data centre environment including hardware, software, equipment, UPS, AC, fire alarm, CCTV, Door Access Control, Phone systems
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned.

Skills & Knowledge Required : 

  • Working in UK shifts on rotational basis.
  • Hands-on Experience in building Windows and Linux servers with high standard of security and reliability including web servers, DNS and Active Directory, Group policy, Database like Microsoft SQL server
  • Configuration and administration of FortiGate/ similar enterprise firewall and Cisco or HP network switches
  • Ability to provide in-depth experience in troubleshooting of Hardware or Software.
  • Must have good experience of managing, auditing, and reporting of Office 365.
  • Office 365 Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Mailbox management, Teams, MDM, Security and Azure
  • Experience is hypervisor tools like Hyper-V, VMware.
  • Experience in managing antivirus tools like Bitdefender, Sophos, McAfee or similar
  • Efficient in hardware & software monitoring and performance tuning
  • Ability to work as a team member or individually to complete tasks thoroughly and efficiently.
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Good Analytical and investigation thinking skills, ability to solve problem and issues.
  • Follows all processes and procedures in disciplined environment.
