Job Overview :

The Business Analyst role will be a critical part of the Processing Operations team in defining the business requirements for changes and new services, documenting key user stories and business workflows which will drive the development team. The BA role will also act in support of the development process, responding to clarification requests and ensuring adherence to business design and requirements, thereby ensuring the quality of the end product

Responsibilities & Duties :


  • Identifying, designing and clearly documenting customer journeys and processes, technical solutions and RFP responses, collaborating with others within the wider Contis team as required to ensure completeness
  • Ensuring ideas, scope, plans and detailed requirements are clearly communicated throughout Contis, including IT, business and management teams, gaining buy in for the same
  • Supporting the development process, responding to questions and clarification requests, checking on progress and ensuring adherence to designs and principles
  • Working with others to ensure all client facing service documentation, support materials and marketing accurately represents the operation of processing services
  • Working as part of the wider Contis team to ensure clear understanding of processing services throughout the business, supporting commercial, sales and marketing activities, assistance with client support and optimising operational performance
  • Continually reviewing the existing service provision to innovate through identification of new opportunities whether they be service improvements, new enhancements or new customer solutions
  • Support the wider organisation on high-level platform related architecture and product functionalities from a customer, client and Contis perspective as required

Skills & Knowledge Required : 


  • Minimum five years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Product Manager or similar in the banking and payments sector.
  • Detailed knowledge of the card payments space, preferably issuer side including compliance, scheme rules and payment processing.
  • Strong customer-orientation – ability to develop solutions from the customers’ perspective.
  • Proven track record delivering product in a matrix organisation.
  • Ability to build consensus, command respect at all levels of an organisation.
  • ‘Completer-finisher’ with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving and, at times, ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
